Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health or a related health field from a recognized institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in health training within a similar institution.
  • Familiarity with the TVET Act 2013 and the CBET curriculum.
  • Valid Technical Trainer Registration by TVETA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and teach assigned units according to the course curriculum.
  • Develop learning materials and maintain professional records to track student progress, achievement, and attendance.
  • Create individualized learning plans for students.
  • Assess student work and monitor their academic performance.
  • Participate in course review processes and adapt teaching methods to meet student needs.
  • Examine and grade Trainees’ Assessment Tests (C.A.Ts and end-of-term assessments) and upload marks in the MIS for assigned units.
  • Conduct practical instructions for trainees and maintain their portfolios of evidence.
  • Supervise students during assessments.
  • Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high-quality curriculum.
  • Attend departmental meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
