Deliverables
- A concise inception phase report that reviews the 2024 PIR, MTR report, training reports, and outlines the understanding of the assignment along with a proposed work plan and mission schedule;
- A report detailing key findings and policy messages from Outputs 2 and 4, accompanied by relevant data sets for the CBA;
- Terms of reference for the CBA;
- Three co-financing reports;
- Three country exit strategies;
- Three policy briefs;
- Three virtual learning webinars organized, along with a report that includes participant lists, feedback, and options for further learning opportunities;
- A comprehensive multi-country final report;
- GEF Project Implementation Progress Report. The consultant will report directly to the Chief of the Climate Change Adaptation Unit.
Qualifications/Special Skills
- An advanced degree in environmental science, climate change, economics, or social sciences is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in international development.
- A proven track record in climate change adaptation is preferred.
- Experience in national or sub-national policy and planning processes is desirable.
- Experience addressing development issues at the city level is advantageous.
- Experience in developing policy briefs is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Southeast Asia region is a plus.
