Tasks & Responsibilities
Consulting
- Conduct technical security reviews, audits, design surveys, installation inspections, and approvals, both at client sites and in the office.
- Design physical and electronic security systems, collaborating with specialist engineers within the project design team.
Task Management
- Serve as the lead consultant on assignments, addressing issues and providing localized solutions.
- Lead and engage in client and project meetings.
- Ensure practices, policies, strategies, and services align with the best interests of the client.
- Foster and maintain long-term client relationships in collaboration with key account managers.
- Keep accurate records of time and expenses to facilitate timely invoicing each month.
Task Delivery
- Deliver projects for clients on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the entire team, leveraging collective experiences and insights.
- Occasionally travel to client sites and Control Risks offices across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
- Provide support to clients remotely or on-site at Control Risks offices within Africa, the Middle East, and Europe as needed.
Business Development
- Identify opportunities to develop projects and expand business.
- Engage in business development initiatives alongside the Associate Director and Director.
- Contribute to marketing efforts and profile-raising events.
- Participate actively in client meetings.
Team / Practice Development
- Share expert knowledge of security consulting and other Control Risks service lines.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: A background in security integration, design, consulting, or engineering, specifically in designing electronic and physical security systems.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of security management systems, surveillance, access control systems, physical security, and related technologies, with the ability to specify, design, and evaluate these systems.
- Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients. Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
- Professional Qualifications: Certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional), or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to design and project management, ensuring consistent high-quality delivery.
