The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving the Society’s growth by optimizing the sales team’s performance, developing strategic marketing initiatives, and identifying new business opportunities. This role aims to enhance market presence, increase membership and sales volumes, and achieve strategic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to elevate the Society’s market profile and meet strategic objectives.
  • Create and execute marketing and communication plans to promote the Society’s products, services, and brand.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor departmental budgets on an annual and periodic basis.
  • Identify and pursue new marketing opportunities to boost membership and sales volumes.
  • Research and innovate new products and services while enhancing existing offerings to meet customer needs and improve satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
  • Evaluate advertising and promotional programs to expand market reach and enhance sales performance.
  • Manage customer relationships to foster loyalty, enhance experience, and increase market share.
  • Develop promotional packages and customer satisfaction initiatives to improve product awareness and retention.
  • Design and implement incentive programs for the Marketing and Sales teams to enhance motivation and performance.
  • Negotiate and manage business contracts to maximize returns on investment.
  • Coordinate customer education initiatives through trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related business field from a recognized institution.
  • A Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body.
  • Strong understanding of real estate sales processes and regional market dynamics.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in real estate sales, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
