Job Purpose Statement

The Commercial Intelligence & Monetization Analyst will assist the Chief Commercial Officer in formulating and implementing LOOP’s commercial strategy. This role focuses on developing data-driven pricing, monetization, and revenue optimization frameworks aimed at enhancing profitability and reinforcing LOOP’s market position.

This position integrates strategic financial analysis, pricing intelligence, and data insights to ensure commercial efficiency, solid financial performance, and a competitive edge. The Analyst will collaborate with Product, Data Science, Finance, and Operations teams to identify monetization opportunities, protect revenue streams, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

Financial 10% 

  • Drive value creation through process and product evaluations with stakeholders to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of products or processes, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure regular tracking and reporting of all process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain cost efficiency throughout project delivery.

Internal Business Processes 70% 

  • Oversee and execute the Business Analysis efforts throughout the project lifecycle, including understanding business needs and project objectives, and defining Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Use Cases using relevant tools and techniques.
  • Lead and support business units during the project Start-up and Initiation phases, managing drawdowns, governance, and documentation.
  • Facilitate business process reviews and promote continuous improvement of bank systems, processes, and personnel across all channels to ensure the bank is equipped to deliver on its strategy.
  • Manage the testing and user acceptance processes to ensure successful implementation of solutions that meet client and business requirements. Oversee specific application quality assurance and help desk activities, including tracking bug reports and change requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage operational risks associated with designing and implementing new or modified business processes and systems.

Customer 10% 

  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with business and technical teams, serving as a resource for technical or business expertise and advice on strategic priorities and projects.
  • Support the integration of best practices into the bank’s process re-engineering methodologies and tools, utilizing frameworks such as Mission Directed Work Teams and Six Sigma to foster innovation.
  • Communicate changes, insights, and plans effectively to cross-functional team members and management.

Learning and Growth 10% 

  • Commit to personal competence development.
  • Complete at least one technical skills certification annually.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements to automate and modernize systems and processes.
  • Conduct research into project-related issues and products to promote continuous improvement.

Job Specifications

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, R, Python) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Professional Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, data analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and advanced statistical analysis is a plus.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 years in banking, financial services, or digital business, with at least 3 years in credit management, portfolio analysis, or commercial analytics.
  • Preferred experience in pricing, revenue assurance, and monetization strategy.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
